Характеристики
Designer Felicia Ferrone gets cagey with her design for the Bird Cage Pendant Light. Whether clustered in a group or used singly, each of the 3 available shapes makes a fanciful yet functional statement. With the LED light bulb and fittings concealed in a central cylinder, there's nothing to detract from the refined effect. Handcrafted in Chicago, the home of Felicia's multidisciplinary studio and eponymous company, Fferrone. FFERRONE“I’ve always known I wanted to work for myself, and I always knew I wanted to be in some kind of design director role," says the founder of Fferrone. “It really wasn’t until the Revolution Collection of glassware that it finally happened. It allowed me the opportunity to figure out all the ‘moving parts’… that couldn’t be done well while working for someone else.” For Chicago’s Felicia Ferrone, that followed an initial stint as an architect in Milan working under notables such as Antonio Citterio and Piero Lissoni.Minimalist contours, an unwavering attention to detail and an often whimsical sensibility characterize the designer’s much-awarded work, both for her own company and for clients such as Boffi, Volume Gallery and Covo. “I knew I also wanted to be free to pursue design with established brands along with more self-directed work,” adds Felicia, “and having my own studio allows me that freedom of choice.”
